Searching all spring barley fields on May 7th as crops behind due to lack of rain

The Dig
Dig confirmed for May 07
The fields on Saturday:
Field 1. The Oil Depot field. 57-acres
Field 2. The Village Field. 45-acres
Field3. The small barn field plus others
THE FIELDS
As the spring barley crops have hardley grown due to lack of rain, we are able to search all SB crops on the farm.
There will be a variety of fields to go over on May 07 including the Oil Depot field, the field opposite the duck pond, the field left of the green tank and the field to the left of the small barn. There could be others too but will have to check on the day.
DRY GROUND
With such dry ground conditions, we will need to look into the best programs or settings for our machines so there is plenty of time to research this. Please note that the farm has always been a very quiet site but perseverance can pay off.
It is unusual for us to be out in May so this will be a welcome interlude from armchair detecting. The forecast hints at showers between now and then which might may a difference but however you look at this dig, a return to this site will always be welcomed by the Crawley fans. Signals are far and few between though.
