Entertainment has been booked for the rally and it’s all free! Friday night’s slot has been filled by Tony Maz who all being well will either do his famous Karaoke session or will be bringing ‘MAZ’ his excellent band. You can hear ‘MAZ’ on this link www.myspace.com/mazcymru

Saturday nights spot was booked some time before I booked ‘MAZ’ and rock duo CHARMA will take the stage in the Old Barn. CHARMA are now much in demand but liked performing for us so much in 2006 and 2007 that they are very happy to entertain us once more. You probably will never forget the awesome guitar solo and the superb lead vocalist Michelle!

Spaces in the main marquee have mostly been filled by the most notable traders in the UK’s detecting world.

We will be visiting the rally site at the beginning of every month holding follow up meetings with the landowner and checking the progress of the crops etc. Around 600-acres of the land is in oilseed rape and this is usually the first crop harvested, roughly at the start of August. This early harvest should give the landowner that bit of extra time to plough and roll the whole of the rally venue by the 19th/20th September, even if the weather turns wet.

I will be collecting the rally tickets from the printers on Monday May 18th so tickets can be purchased from next week. A dry hot summer is at the moment forecast so fingers crossed!
